Dragon White Jade Appreciation

China is known for its reputation as an oriental jade country. The ancients love jade for a long time. The reporter went to the Sanmenxia Shuguo Museum to visit one of the museum's pre-Qin jade jewels - the dragon white jade dragonfly.

Speaking of this jade treasure, Liu Shegang, the deputy director of the museum, looked at the treasures: “Dragon grain white jade is made from the fine Hetian Baiyu. It is 19.1 centimeters in diameter, white and slightly green, crystal clear and translucent. There are variants of abstract dragons, with elegant, smooth and dynamic lines. The production is very delicate and the craftsmanship is very elegant."

What kind of life experience is hidden behind this precious cultural relic? At the time, the excavator, former leader of the Sanmenxia Cultural Relics Team, Ning Jingtong, told reporters that since the 1950s, archaeologists discovered the surnamed Ji Kingdom, which was dusty for more than 2800 years in Shangcunling, Sanmenxia. Ancient mystery veil. In the tomb of the monk Guo Jun, who was discovered in 1990, the archeological team discovered thousands of jade artifacts. Among these jades, there are large-scale jade rituals, such as jade cymbals, jade cymbals, and jade jewels, and there are a large number of peony jades of various ages. It is no exaggeration to say that Chung is a jade collector. The jade artifacts unearthed at that time shocked the world’s archeological community with its exquisite craftsmanship and ingenious craftsmanship. The dragon white jadeite is one of the most precious ones.

Since ancient times, white jade symbolizes the gentleman's character of "benevolence, righteousness, wisdom, courage, and cleanliness." In the Zhou Dynasty, "the Tianzi Peibaiyu" is a concrete embodiment of a strict and orderly hierarchy. However, Jun Guojun Jun Zhong is only a princely level. Why is there a dragon pattern white jade dragonfly? Archaeologists speculated that this should be Zhou Zizi rewarded to Zhai Zhong. Originally, Chung Chung was a monarch of Shu Kingdom, and also a Qing Shi Wang's dean. He took charge of the power in the DPRK and made great contributions in the war against Huai. During the thirteenth year of Li Wang, Huaiyi began mass harassment of the Zhou room. This time, Zhou Liwang’s military commander led the troops to attack, not only repelling the enemy’s attack, but also recaptured the captured and robbed. The property has played a role in killing all the princes and affiliated countries of the Zhou Dynasty. Zhai Zhonghuai won the outstanding military exploits of the Huai Yi, and he received the Dragon White Jade from Zhou Tianzi.

Relics are a testament to history. The dragon white jade plaque records the history of the Western Zhou Dynasty and left precious historical data for the later generations. It deservedly became the treasure of the town hall of the Shu Museum.
